I have taught writing one on one and also in groups at the high school, collegiate and professional level, and I strongly believe everyone has a story to tell. The key is to draw from your unique background and point of view, and to share your own lived experiences.

I have been a working writer for over 20 years, and I’ve been teaching writing for the past 5 years at the collegiate level. I also work as a faculty mentor to a diverse body of students from around the world, helping to make sure they feel included and are treated equitably by staff, administrators and other students.
