About Devi
I have over 10 years of experience teaching Bahasa Indonesia, specialising in helping students speak like native speakers rather than relying on textbook language. I taught in Bali for over a decade before relocating to Australia, where I’ve continued teaching online. In the past, I owned my own language school, and I’m currently pursuing another bachelor’s degree at ECU. My lessons focus on practical, real-world language skills, and I create customised learning plans tailored to each student’s goals and pace. I bring a deep understanding of Indonesian culture, ensuring that students not only learn the language but also the nuances of communication and etiquette. I pride myself on making lessons interactive and engaging through real-life scenarios and role-playing. My approach is adaptable and patient, providing ongoing support both during and outside of lessons. My passion lies in guiding students at all levels to confidently master Indonesian conversation
