About Ayla

Hi there! I’m a piano teacher with over 9 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. I specialize in helping adults, late beginners, and returning musicians find joy and ease at the keyboard. My lessons are relaxed, creative, and always tailored to your goals—whether you’re playing for fun, self-care, or pure curiosity. I focus on building musical habits that fit beautifully into everyday life. We’ll blend strong technique with personal expression, so you feel both confident and inspired as you play. I love working on personal song arrangements, teaching accompaniment skills, and guiding students who enjoy learning by ear. You don’t have to be perfect or fast—just willing to explore. My approach is friendly and flexible, making space for creativity, consistency, and small musical wins along the way. Together, we’ll find a rhythm that works for you. About the lesson

My piano lessons are a blend of creativity, calm, and solid technique. I create a relaxed space where students can explore music at their own pace while building strong foundational skills. We focus on finger strength, hand coordination, and reading lead sheets with confidence.

I love mixing playful improvisation into lessons—it sparks joy and helps students connect emotionally with what they play. Rhythmic storytelling is also part of our journey, where rhythm supports expression and meaning. Each lesson is shaped around the student’s needs, whether they’re learning for personal healing or to serve in musical settings.

I’m especially good at helping students who seek music for reflection, purpose, or deeper connection. I support expressive growth while gently strengthening technical ability. We work with intention but without pressure.

My goal is to help each learner find their voice at the piano—steady, creative, and full of heart. Whether you're playing hymns, composing melodies, or simply unwinding through music, I’m here to guide your path with encouragement and care.
