About Melissa
I bring a strong blend of real-world clinical expertise and effective teaching skills to every tutoring session. I understand the challenges nursing students face and my background allows me to break down difficult concepts, teach in a clear and supportive way, and guide students toward the level of critical thinking required for success in nursing school and beyond. I have a Master of Nursing Education degree, teach theory at a local University, and work in the operating room as a RN. I also have a strong background in Labor and Delivery. I am a Registered Nurse with 15 years of clinical experience and currently a university-level nursing theory instructor. I’ve guided students through difficult concepts, care prioritization, and exam preparation—helping them feel confident, capable, and prepared for both the classroom and clinical setting.
