About Elian
With over 6 years of teaching experience and a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Guitar Studies, I’ve spent my career helping students unlock the full potential of their ears. I specialize in advanced ear training for guitarists, guiding players to hear deeper and play smarter. Whether it’s transcribing complex solos, identifying chord progressions by ear, or working toward perfect pitch, I make the process clear and exciting. I believe that ear training is the key to musical freedom. My lessons go beyond repetition they focus on developing a strong inner ear and a deep connection to sound. Students learn to trust what they hear and translate it directly onto the fretboard. We work on tone recognition, interval drills, and active listening through real music. I also incorporate theory so that what you hear connects with what you understand. Every lesson is tailored to your current level and future goals. Watching a student recognize a progression without touching the guitar is one of my favorite moments. I aim to build that confidence in every player. I offer clear explanations, exercises, and visual fretboard strategies that connect theory with your fingers.
