About Dr Kennedy
I am an assistant professor of sociology at King's University. I earned my PhD in Sociology at the University of Southern California (USC) and my Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of instructing a diverse range of courses at both UBC and USC as a teaching assistant. My students come from diverse academic backgrounds, including those outside the realm of social sciences.
In addition, my academic journey has been marked by numerous accolades, including recognition at esteemed institutions such as Harvard University's National Collegiate Research Conference (NCRC), where I was honored for my outstanding contributions to Social Sciences. Additionally, I was privileged to receive the Best Graduate Student Paper Award at the American Sociological Association, Pacific Sociological Association, and Alpha Keppa Delta Society.

Do you find social sciences writing challenging? Do you need some guidance on writing essays, finding the right peer-reviewed articles as references, and designing and analyzing interviews, surveys, or other research projects? Do you find reading, such as books and research articles, too long and overwhelming? In my lessons, I will help you resolve these difficulties, making tedious social sciences coursework more manageable.
I warmly welcome university-level students, particularly those in the field of social sciences.
I have extensive experience tutoring university courses at two prominent institutions in the United States and Canada. My teaching approach is designed to empower students, helping them tackle challenging questions, master difficult concepts, and even navigate the often overwhelming world of social sciences reading.
My specialization lies in sociology, political sciences, cultural studies, media and communication, and international relations, covering a wide array of topics, including but not limited to migration, politics, international relations, and globalization. Also, I possess expertise in both quantitative and statistical, as well as qualitative research methods.

Kennedy is a very nice, knowledgeable, passionate teacher. He helps me and a lot of my friends get through difficult concepts and guide us through some difficult reading and writing process.
