We have been working together for the past five months towards achieving clearer articulation, reducing my native accent in English, and improving my presentation voice. Yet it is also much more than that - Elizabeth has taught me to detect nuance that I didn't even know existed in human speech and would never have been able to perceive on my own, let alone reproduce. I thought that working with an instructor might be beneficial, but had I known how much there is to an accent and what difference the right tutor can make, I would have started long ago.
