About Tamay
I am a University of the Arts London graduate which is one of the world’s most prestigious Art Universities where I studied Magazine Journalism and Publishing where I achieved an overall grade of 2:1 and 1st in my Final Major Project. All of the jobs I have had in the past have relied on a high level of communication skills. I have worked in a call centre, in Premium Retail, as a Journalist, Events Manager and currently work in Education in one of the UK’s leading Grammar Schools as an Events and Communications Manager. I am also in charge of coordinating a Cadets Force club for over 100 students which involves liaising with staff, students and parents on a regular basis.

Initially, we will discuss your current knowledge of the English language talk about the goals you have in terms of your short term and long term progress.
I will run a diagnostic lesson to identify key areas of strength as well as outline aspects of your English speaking, listening, reading and writing so that I can plan lessons that are personalised and targeted towards your needs. After this, I will share a detailed plan based on how many lessons you’d like to commit to and how often you are able to attend lessons. You will have the chance to ask for any adaptations to this plan prior to your first paid lesson so that you are 100% happy with the content you are receiving during the upcoming lessons.
I will set work outside of lesson time however we can discuss the length of this in our initial meeting so that it fits well into your personal life as I know that each and every student will have different commitments and availability in terms of committing to work outside of lessons. Examples of work set can include anything from watching an episode of an English television series and noting any words you do not understand and finding out what they mean and evidencing this to a submitting a piece of writing on a topic I set.
