About Andy
I support real-world corporate and strategic initiatives through the compilation, analysis, distillation, and delivery of high-value data critical to executive-level decision-making. I turn the data culled using multiple sources into clear snapshots and intelligence usable by high-level leaders in the private, government contracting, and military sectors.
A sharp-minded professional with a solid technical background in software engineering, I assimilate well into fast-paced environments requiring agile thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and continual innovation.
Although I enjoyed my work in software engineering, I’ve come to realize that my real passion lies with data that I've transformed into accurate, up-to-the-minute information that proved pivotal during such U.S. military operations as Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and the Persian Gulf.
My definitive contributions also impacted the success of projects such as NASA's Artemis 1/2 missions through my role at Lockheed Martin and a GPS program for Raytheon.
I’m particularly proud of the multiple “firsts” I delivered such as the integration of a DevOps environment into the Artemis 2 program which enabled both automation and scalability, the development and deployment of a communication courses for the U.S. Army Foundry program and production a data science course for the National Security Agency.

For the first lesson, we will learn some brief history of Python. Then we will get a quick start with Python through the IPython terminal. Next, we will move on to more structured programming with the basic structure of a program.
