Deadly! Daisy is incredibly knowledgeable on 2D animation (both traditional/digital) and also has experience with the animation program I’m currently using (Krita), which is super helpful! Her skills, both on a technical and creative level, are inspirational and she clearly understands the varying techniques of frame-by-frame animation.
I specifically needed help with design consistency and how to make certain motions feel more organic, in which she provided advice and references, which helped me figure out better artistic decisions (I also realized that my illustrative art style (with shading and dramatic lighting) clashes when animated, so I made my character designs work better when flat colored or sketchy.)
Overall, she is highly skilled and has actually given helpful critique. I am very pleased to have her as a tutor!
