About Sahishnuta

Hi there! My name is Sahishnuta, and I'm originally from India. I've lived and worked across India, France, and I'm now based remotely, teaching students from around the world. I teach Python and Data Science — and I speak English and Hindi fluently. If you're ready to turn data into something powerful, you're in the right place! I'm a Data Professional with over 8 years of industry experience, and a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence Systems from EPITA in Paris. I've built real machine learning systems for global companies like Amadeus in France, Infosys, and L&T InfoTech — across banking, healthcare, manufacturing, and travel.

About the lesson

welcome to my page! I'm an instructor focusing on both Python and SQL for beginners. I have a passion for helping novice users feel confident when using technology and data. I have intentionally designed my teaching methods for new programmers to make learning to program an easy, practical, and enjoyable experience right from the start.

I have a firm belief that with the right guidance and attitude, anyone can learn to program using either Python or SQL. I share my philosophy of teaching by breaking down difficult subject matter (i.e., programming concepts) into smaller parts that can be easily understood by using examples from everyday life and giving my students opportunities to practice their newly learned skills. I focus on helping my students learn through application as much as possible, which means writing code and completing small programming assignments where they will develop their programming skills as they go.

For example, when teaching Python, students will learn about variables, loops, functions, and data structures before being introduced to real-world applications of those concepts (e.g., data analysis). When I teach SQL, I concentrate on providing students with an understanding of how to manipulate data within databases (e.g., querying a database, filtering a database, joining tables, and pulling valuable information from a database).

I strive to create a fun and interactive teaching environment. I believe that asking questions, experimenting, and learning from mistakes is a big part of the learning process. My classes are designed so that students will develop confidence in their ability by the end of each session, so that they will not only understand how to perform different tasks but also know why they performed them.

No matter what your ultimate goal is (starting a career in data or developing on your current job), my wish is to make this experience as easy, fun and realistic as possible.
