About Lisa
I am a screenwriter and script doctor with real-world experience, having been paid to write for several web series, a transmedia project, blogs, and a fashion and news TV show which aired in the US and China. I have also taken script writing classes at UCLA Extension, The Writing Pad (LA), and multiple LA workshops and online courses. I attended Story Expo in LA as well. My comedy pilot was selected to be hosted on The Blacklist, and the same comedy pilot was also selected as a Top Ten Finalist in the Austin TV Pitch Competition.

My method is to read each script a minimum of five times and provide comprehensive script and editing notes. I will provide notes based on the rhythm, movement, and overall tone. I will make suggestions for specific line cuts. I will ask questions which will help you clarify scene objectives, relationships, and the purpose/action of each line. I will also catch spelling and grammatical errors, I will help you to polish any areas that are unclear, and I will help you prepare your script for submission. I can also assist in recommending ways in which to pitch and market your script.
