In my lessons we will:
- Discuss your assignment and how to break down the rubric into steps and goals.
- Brainstorm ideas by starting big and narrowing our way down the list. What is realistic based on the given source material?
- Spend ample time researching your topic and expand, develop, and structure your argument with all research completed.
- Map out essay, what do we need to say and how do we get it to work together and create a sound argument?
- Write, proofread, write again.
- Submit!
Research and well-rounded ideas are key to creating great essays. I believe in building a strong and smart idea from the beginning, with that the writing comes more easily. With a strong and supported foundation, you are given the opportunity to enjoy the artistry of writing.
My classes are for high school and undergraduate students taking classes that are heavily art and literature based as well as essay heavy.
