About Rahul

I am a highly successful Y13 student, studying at Queen Elizabeth's School, having achieved 9 grade 9"s (A**) inc. English and Maths in my GCSEs.
I am studying Maths Further Maths Economics and History for A level (predicted 4 A*) and hold an offer to read Economics at the University of Cambridge.
I won Child Genius 2017, a nationwide televised Quiz competition, having beaten over 3000 other applicants.
Gained admission into 4 selective state schools (top 10 in Mill Hill and QE Boys entrance exams, top 5 in Dame Alice Owen's exam).
I have 3 years of experience working for a tutoring company, tutoring 4-11-year-olds and 2 years as a private tutor.

About the lesson

I ensure all my students have short and long-term goals, as I firmly believe that goals motivate students, whether those goals are improving in a subject or gaining admission into a selective school. I use baseline assessments to gauge where my students need to improve and use a wide variety of material in lessons to keep students engaged. More specifically for 11 Plus, I use a wide variety of material such as Schofield and Sims as well as Bond Books before moving onto past papers.

Rahul taught my daughter for a year before her 11 Plus entrance exams. He thoroughly taught her the techniques she needed for Verbal and Non-verbal reasoning in a fun and engaging manner. He also helped her develop the skills needed to tackle hard Maths questions that would come up. I would definitely recommend Rahul as a tutor and wish him the best of luck in the future.
