About Aixa Viviana

As a Yale Distinguished Educator Award Winner and veteran educator with over 20 years of experience, including serving students on the University of California San Diego campus, I am dedicated to helping you achieve your Spanish goals. Spanish is one of my top three passions, and I am excited to share my knowledge and expertise with you.

In addition to my professional achievements, I am also a proud parent of two children, aged 18 and 11. My personal experiences as a parent have further enriched my understanding of education and the unique needs of learners at different stages of their academic journey.

Whether you need help with pronunciation before a Spanish presentation, AP test prep, or simply want to expand your travel vocabulary, I am here to support you every step of the way.

With over 20 years of teaching experience, including serving as the world language department chair at the #1 transformative High school in the Inited States. On the campus of the University of California San Diego (UC San Diego) and receiving the Distinguished Educator award from Yale University I am dedicated to providing personalized instruction tailored to your unique needs and learning strengths.

My approach to teaching is both carefree and rigorous, ensuring that learning is interesting, hands-on, and relevant to the global demand for Spanish speakers. Whether you need help with high school Spanish, AP Spanish and AP Spanish Lit., college Spanish composition courses, or simply want to improve your pronunciation for travel, I am here to help.
