About Klaleh
I’m a proud public school kid who was blessed with the opportunity to attend Yale University, where I studied History and graduated with honors. This fall, I’ll be heading to Columbia Law School. Along the way, I’ve learned so many unspoken rules and strategies for academic success—things I wish I had access to growing up. My goal as a tutor is to share those insights and help make high-level education more accessible. I don’t just see my students as clients—I see them as people with real dreams that I’m invested in. I’m here to support not just their assignments or applications, but their long-term goals. I’m so excited to help bring your dreams to life! :)

When tutoring, I begin by understanding each student’s goals. In our first session, we’ll talk about where the student wants to grow so I can create a personalized lesson plan tailored to their needs. For students looking to improve in reading comprehension and analytical writing, we might workshop a draft, break down a complex text, or outline an essay step-by-step. I combine big-picture strategy with detailed line editing so students learn to think critically and write persuasively. For application coaching, we’ll start with a strategy session to discuss target schools or programs and outline a cohesive application narrative. From there, we’ll work through each piece of the application—personal statement, supplements, activity list—with pointed feedback and organizational support. I offer insight from personal experience marketing myself and others to top-tier programs. I primarily work with high school and college students—from AP Lit and History to college and graduate school applications. I have never gotten less than an A- in my educational history, demonstrating my expertise in these areas. What sets me apart is my ability to make complex ideas accessible and actionable, to work towards your success! Whether you're aiming for stronger grades or competitive admissions, I’ll meet you where you are and help you grow from there! :)
