About Dr Pooja
I am an environmental scientist with graduate training from the Yale School of the Environment and doctoral training from Columbia University. Along with my post-doctoral training, I have spent approximately a decade in academic institutions. I have a keen understanding of writing applications for programmes as well as for fellowships/scholarships, having written and won several over the last 10 years. When I am not deep in a forest collecting data to understand how forests grow and change over time, I like to help students with the undergraduate and graduate applications, especially tailored for Ivy League universities. I would be happy to help you get into your dream school!

Support for undergraduate and graduate Ivy League applications includes an hour-long meeting to discuss your CV to determine aspects of your academic and extra-curricular activities to highlight in the application essays. Having been a Master's student at the Yale School of the Environment (with multiple fellowships and scholarships) and a fully funded PhD student at Columbia University, I believe I have a close understanding of what Ivy League universities often look for in students. Additionally, I am happy to provide feedback on essays for university applications and help find and apply to the most suited fellowships/scholarships for an additional charge. My teaching style is largely based on the student's needs and I can be as hands-on or off as required/desired.
