About Lori

My career has been defined by a commitment to academic excellence—a standard I have upheld while guiding my own three children through the milestones of higher education and professional life. Having mentored a college graduate, a current university student, and a third on the way, I understand that every learner requires a unique roadmap to reach their full potential.

As a published author and poet, I help students move beyond simple comprehension to find their unique voice and confidence. With 12 years of classroom experience and a current role training other educators, I bring an "expert-level" perspective to literacy. I hold an EC-12 certification, allowing me to bridge the gap between foundational elementary skills and advanced high school composition.
Beyond the classroom, I am a published author, poet, and professional ghostwriter. This professional writing background allows me to teach students the "art" of the craft alongside the "science" of grammar.
