About Emily
Hello, my name is Emily. I am a music undergraduate at the University of Bristol and I studied music for A-level during 2024-2026. I participated as a first-chair flautist in two orchestras and perform piano in several concerts. I also sing - I perform in pubs and care homes in both the UK and Japan, and in school choirs and musicals. I have a grade 8 distinction ABRSM certificate in piano, along with working at a grade 6 level in flute. I love teaching children, especially about music and how it can become a hobby they grow to love. Overall, I am passionate about educating children in music and committed to encouraging a deeper appreciation and understanding of the subject.

Typically use a mix of English and Japanese teaching methods from old teachers of mine, usually ranging from 30 mins to an hour. Aimed for under 18s with a speciality in younger children however able to teach any age.
