About Robyn
I taught in the public schools for 20 years. grades 7-12; I hold a Masters degree in Education and specialize in English, Theatre, Speech, Journalism, and reading. I have been tutoring on and off since 2004.I have directed over 150 plays and musicals and conducted 5 student tours of New York City and the theatre district.
Many of my former students have gone on to become teachers, performers, and professional writers.

I feel students learn by doing so my style is a very "hands on" approach. Of course, it depends on the student and the lesson at hand. When younger students struggle to remember basics, we will sit and write a poem about it in order to remember! This works surprisingly for older students as well! I bring 20 years of successful classroom teaching to each and every tutoring session. Let me help you or your student find learning success!
