About Flora
"Teaching music is how I share the joy of rhythm and melody with you directly. I hold a Diploma in Music Performance from Musicians Institute Hollywood which grounds my work. Over 11 years of experience in the industry have shaped how I guide students.
253 students have walked through my door so far. It is fun. I stay jazz-adjacent and focus on the piano-adjacent guitar style of Norah Jones.
My approach is hands-on. You will find that I keep things simple and lighthearted."

"Struggling with awkward finger placements or messy blues progressions often slows down your progress on the guitar. I focus on connecting guitar and voice work together so you actually use these skills in real performance scenarios.
My 11 years of experience mean I can clarify reading sheet music or tabs while we work on electric or acoustic techniques together. Improvisation and soloing become natural habits during our time. I provide free chord charts and tab sheets after each class to help you practice. Do you have a favorite song you want to play?"
