About Christa
Bedroom players often assume they need expensive gear to sound like the records they admire. Most guitarists actually benefit from mastering the basics first. Over 4 years of experience, I have guided 140 students through blues progressions and complex scale theory. My BFA from NYU Steinhardt helps me explain music theory in ways that make sense for songwriters.
I emphasize chord transitions and rhythm guitar to build your confidence. Seeing someone finally nail a tricky barre chord is the best part of my job. I am fully committed to your success as a musician.

Playing guitar is most enjoyable when you can hear yourself locking into a groove. You drop the needle on a track and suddenly the scales and modes start clicking. I create custom backing tracks so you can practice soloing at home with a full band behind you. These tracks provide a professional context for your lead guitar lines.
Whether we are doing grade exam prep or working on tuning and maintenance, I make sure the theory supports your creative vision. My degree in Music Technology ensures our setup is always sounding crisp. You will find that these sessions turn your practice time into a genuine performance. I am ready to help you finish your next song.
