About Joy
Hi! I’m a friendly and enthusiastic piano player who loves sharing my passion for music with others. I have completed several grades in piano and have experience helping my younger siblings learn to play. I understand that starting an instrument can feel difficult at first, so I aim to make every lesson relaxed, enjoyable and encouraging. I love helping beginners build confidence, discover music they enjoy and develop skills they can use for years to come!

I have completed several grades in piano and have many years of experience playing. I have also helped teach my younger siblings to play, giving me experience explaining music in a simple and patient way.
My lessons are aimed at beginners aged 6–10, and I focus on making learning piano enjoyable rather than stressful. Lessons can be tailored to each child, whether they want to learn songs they enjoy, understand the basics of music, or build skills that can help them if they choose Music as a subject in secondary school.
I don’t focus on exams — my aim is to help children enjoy music, build confidence and develop a strong foundation on the piano.
