"Patience is essential when explaining walls, floors, roofs, and ceilings to someone new to BIM fundamentals in Revit. BIM modeling requires far more discipline than simple drafting, yet many beginners struggle with sheets, views, and viewports. Structural modeling basics and MEP systems overview form the backbone of my instruction after 12 years in the field.
Families and parameters provide the logic for your projects, while rendering and visualization sell the final idea. I emphasize material takeoffs and exporting to IFC and DWG to ensure you understand the full data flow. Designing clean, coordinated models is the goal we work toward together."
