My Diploma in Music from Wintec provides the structure for every session I run. I help independent artists and intermediate producers find their unique voice through deliberate practice. We look at rhyme schemes, meter, and the mechanics of melody writing.
Understanding prosody is essential for those who want their words to match their music perfectly. I emphasize the importance of storytelling in songs to ensure every chorus is truly memorable. "Writing is a session style workflow that benefits from constant iteration. A great hook comes from simple, intentional choices. My lessons focus on top-line writing and chord progressions to build a strong foundation. We break down the art of storytelling into manageable pieces for every student.
You will practice matching words to melody until the prosody feels natural. I guide teens and students through the process of writing memorable choruses that stick. We evaluate your rhyme schemes and meter to see what works for your specific style. Everything we do serves the song you are currently building in the room.
