About Max

With over five years of experience as a DJ and producer, Max Dufficy has performed across leading venues in Ireland and England, including standout sets at Index Dublin. Known for his deep, groove-driven sound, Max has supported major artists such as East End Dubs, Chris Stussy, Rossi., Enzo Siragusa, Locklead, Robbie Doherty, Elliot Schooling, Liam Palmer, Jamback, and Julian Anthony.

His journey has taken him from underground club nights to some of the most respected house events, including Omni, Secret Sessions, and Endless Dublin. Max also hosts a monthly show on Bloop London Radio, where he shares his sound with a global audience.

Having refined his craft across all styles of house music and learned from performing alongside some of the scene’s best, Max is now passionate about helping new DJs break into the industry. Through his lessons, he brings real-world experience, technical knowledge, and industry insight to anyone ready to take the next step.

About the lesson

All DJ lessons are available in person at your local Pirate Studios, in the comfort of your own home, or online—giving you complete flexibility in how you learn. If you choose to take your lesson at Pirate Studios, the student will be responsible for covering the studio rental cost. This gives you access to a fully equipped, professional-grade space with industry-standard decks, mixers, and high-quality sound systems.

If you’d prefer to learn at home, I can bring the session to you (equipment permitting), or we can work together online using your existing setup. Whether you’re mastering beatmatching, improving your transitions, or diving into advanced mixing techniques, each lesson is tailored to your pace and goals.

With multiple Pirate Studios locations across London—and the option for home or online sessions—you can learn in the environment that suits you best.
