About Mary
I’m a 19-year-old living in the Dublin 2 area and am currently taking a gap year, which gives me flexibility for time slots and lessons. I started playing piano when I was 9 years old, and have loved it since then. I have studied primarily classical music, but have recently been challenging myself to broaden my horizon and attempt other styles, such as jazz. My love for music also extends beyond just the piano; I began playing electric guitar 3 years ago and, although it is very different from piano, I thoroughly enjoy it. I have also been doing ballet since I was 14 and have obtained a professional level qualification for the Royal Academy Intermediate exam. This intersection between movement and music has even further fueled my appreciation and enjoyment of piano :)

Lessons can be tailored to needs of the student, whether that involves planning for exams, working through pieces of their choice, or simply getting familiar with the basic techniques required to play.
Can cater to any age range, however would not be qualified to teach students whose skills already exceed grade VI standards.
Although I do not have prior experience teaching piano, I have experience coaching hockey which has given me related skills.
