About Allison
I have always loved the one on one experience with my students. I have a strong respect for those I teach and understand from experience and studying it myself that it is not easy and we have to support one another in our learning journeys. I coached basketball for many years and played through college so I know the importance of team work to execute the right winning plays. I don't give up and work hard to find what works for my students so they get the most out of their experience with me.

I like to approach teaching Spanishonin a way that makes sense to my Learners. I break down complex conversational grammar with formulas and love to connect with memorable songs and acronyms to help recall important skills or verbs to discuss topics across many tenses. I also have direct experience from living in two countries at separate times in my studies, Oaxaca MX and Costa Rica. I love to connect to culture and the ways in which certain countries may differ in ways they speak the language.
