About Cathleen
"Coffee steam rises as I draft lesson plans at my desk, thinking back to my start in linguistics. My 9 years of teaching have brought me into contact with hundreds of learners from teens to busy travelers. I earned my Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics at RMIT to better understand how brains process secondary languages.
Neurodivergent students often find my direct style makes the complexities of grammar feel manageable. I focus on reading comprehension, idioms, and writing to build your confidence. Whether you need DELE prep or travel Spanish, I guide you through the cultural context.
