About Aria
I am a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and hold a Bachelor of Music Education with a focus on voice. My passion lies in guiding choirs, vocal ensembles, and groups to discover their fullest sound. I specialize in harmony training, helping singers develop confidence while working as part of a collective voice. My teaching covers a wide range of styles including Classical, Sacred, A Cappella, and Barbershop. I believe every style offers a unique way to explore vocal expression and community. Sight singing and solfège are central to my lessons, giving students tools to read and interpret music independently. I also focus on choral blend, part-singing, and ensemble awareness to create rich, unified performances. Rehearsal leadership is a key part of my work, and I design sessions that are structured yet engaging. These practices not only improve technique but also build listening skills and teamwork. I have successfully trained school choirs, college ensembles, and community singing groups, helping them achieve excellence in both local and regional performances. Many of my students describe my sessions as both challenging and uplifting. Singing together is more than music—it’s connection, growth, and shared joy. My voice lessons are built around breathing techniques, vocal health, pitch training, and performance skills, adapted to each learner’s unique path. For The Suzuki Student, the focus is on building strong foundations. I use step-by-step breathing exercises, simple pitch drills, and repetition to develop steady technique and confidence. This approach encourages early awareness of vocal health and nurtures a love for singing from the start.
For The Orchestra Member, the lessons emphasize refinement and expressive control. We work on advanced breathing support, blending tone within ensembles, and mastering pitch accuracy in complex musical settings. Emotional connection and interpretation are woven into practice, preparing them for both solo and group performances.
Teaching tools like ear training apps, vocal tracking software, and guided recordings help students monitor progress and stay motivated. These tools also make practice more interactive and measurable.
Both personas benefit from a personalized approach that balances technical skill with artistic expression. My goal is to help every student find their unique voice while ensuring healthy, sustainable singing. Together, we create a pathway that transforms technique into confident, moving performances.
