About Ryan
Technique is rarely the primary barrier to your musical progress. You start by identifying the exact mechanical habit causing your current playing plateau. We break down power chords, scales, modes, and lead guitar lines into manageable parts. My 13 years in music mean I can translate abstract concepts into functional habits for your hands.
We use ear training to build a deeper connection to your instrument. Grade exam prep is available if you require a structured path forward. You will move closer to the specific sound you are aiming to produce.

Learning an instrument is often less about talent and more about the deliberate management of frustration. I possess a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire which informs my disciplined approach to teaching guitar to 251 students so far.
Hobbyists, advanced learners, and adults come to me to refine their technical skills. My method relies on patience rather than rapid, superficial progress. I integrate blues progressions and complex fingerpicking patterns into our routine to ensure you understand the mechanics of the neck.
