About Sia
I am a passionate piano tutor with 10 years of teaching experience and a Master’s Degree in Music. I have guided children, teenagers, and adults through personalized instruction that develops technical proficiency, musical understanding, and the confidence to perform with accuracy, expression, and enjoyment.
My teaching approach is patient, structured, and student-focused. I believe every learner progresses at their own pace, so I customize each lesson to individual strengths and aspirations. By creating a supportive and motivating atmosphere, I help students build lasting skills while fostering a genuine love for music and lifelong learning.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy composing original piano pieces, accompanying fellow musicians, exploring different musical traditions, attending live performances, and studying innovative teaching methods. These interests allow me to bring fresh inspiration, practical performance insights, and creative learning experiences into every lesson, making piano education engaging, enjoyable, and rewarding.

Every piano lesson is thoughtfully tailored to the student's age, experience, and musical goals. Whether you are learning the keyboard for the first time or advancing your performance skills, I provide structured instruction that strengthens hand coordination, finger technique, rhythm, sight-reading, dynamics, and expressive musical interpretation in an encouraging environment.
My lessons blend practical exercises, music theory, scales, chord progressions, ear training, repertoire development, and performance preparation. Students build strong technical foundations while developing creativity, confidence, and disciplined practice habits through personalized guidance, constructive feedback, and engaging activities designed for steady long-term improvement.
I encourage students to explore a broad range of musical styles, including classical, jazz, pop, contemporary, blues, and film music. Alongside technical mastery, I focus on improvisation, musical expression, stage confidence, and artistic interpretation, enabling every learner to become a well-rounded, confident, and expressive pianist.
