I’m a full stack software engineer of 10 years industrial and academic experience. I graduated from Nottingham Trent University and then worked in the following sectors:
- automotive
- educational software
- medical insurance
- banking
- retail
I have trained juniors and senior staff in many technical fields.

Private tutoring can be done online or in person. In person is preferred as it’s more effective.
I believe in a practical approach to learning and creating new skill sets. One off lessons are welcome if you have something specific in mind you wish to lean about.
I offer a 12 week course which will teach you the fundamentals of computer science. A lesson plan will be provided and out of lesson challenges will be set.
You won’t need a degree, or have to write long essays here. You will be learning industry standard techniques and practices employed on a daily basis by professional companies.
I work mostly with the .net framework and azure cloud platforms. If you wish to use other technical stacks, I can accommodate that.
If you are simply looking for inspiration of what to do inside the software world I can help you find your passion.
The way I teach the 12 week course is strictly a hands on approach. You will be coding from day one. Learning the best practices and following agile and scrum methodologies to achieve a goal base understanding in software development delivery.
Anything I haven’t listed here please get in touch, I will aim to answer your questions within a day.
I keep up to date with my knowledge by working full time as a senior software developer. You will be learning true professional development. If you don’t wish to commit directly to a lengthy course I can offer an hourly rate service to meet your needs.
I will not help you develop commercial products or cheat on university courses. I offer academic services only. Private contractors are available for that.
