About Victoria
Admitting that language learning can be frustrating is my first step toward building a better dialogue. I find that beginners and advanced students alike struggle most with the transition from rote memorization to actual speech. My 13 years of experience allow me to anticipate where your conjugation will stumble before it even happens. Using role play and practical dialogue, we dismantle the barriers that often stop people from using their French in public.
We look at business French or specific idioms that make a conversation feel authentic rather than academic. I treat your goals as the primary roadmap for our work together. Bringing a sense of calm to this process is how I manage to keep learners motivated over the long term. I look forward to starting this work with you.

Standing before a whiteboard in a quiet Ontario classroom, I often reflect on the dual reality of bilingualism. My path includes an MA in French Studies and TESOL, which provides the technical grounding for my 13 years in education.
Watching 396 students navigate the complexities of French syntax and idioms has shaped my approach into something precise and methodical. I balance the rigorous demands of exam preparation with the fluidity required for everyday conversational fluency. Communicating in a second language is a journey I have navigated countless times alongside my students.
My focus remains on clear structures that turn abstract grammar rules into tangible tools for expression. It is a quiet process.
