About Abigail

With a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance and 5 years of experience, I specialise in advanced jazz piano instruction. My students have been accepted into elite schools such as Berklee, Juilliard, and others. I believe every student has a unique musical identity waiting to be developed. Lessons cover improvisation, harmonic exploration, rhythm, and performance artistry. I also place strong emphasis on technical mastery and disciplined practice. My teaching is a mix of structure and creativity. For audition preparation, I provide focused guidance and proven strategies. I also help students refine stage presence and confidence. Lessons are tailored to your strengths and areas for growth. I encourage exploration while keeping clear goals in sight. Jazz is a lifelong journey, and I enjoy guiding students along the way. My mission is to unlock your full artistic and technical potential. Together, we will prepare you for success in the world of advanced jazz.

About the lesson

I approach piano teaching with warmth, clarity, and a strong focus on collaboration. Lessons are interactive and goal-driven, helping students grow as accompanists and ensemble players.
