About Vera
"Watching a student finally grasp a tricky riff creates the best part of my day. I hold an MMus Music Performance from the University of Auckland and use that technical base to guide you. It is simple.
I have spent 13 years teaching guitar to people of all ages. My approach balances academic rigor with the songs you actually want to play to keep you engaged. I am ready to help you improve your playing."

"Many beginners struggle with the physical tension that builds up when trying to play barre chords. I solve this by correcting your hand positioning through the methods I refined during my 13 years of teaching.
We will look at reading tabs and your rhythm guitar patterns in detail. My MMus degree ensures that our focus remains on musicality and proper technique throughout the 6.0 hour blocks. A free trial session is available to assess your starting level before we continue."
