About Maneli

4.5+ years of experience as a math and English tutor at multiple Best Brains for students K-8, I was ranked 3rd in my high school with a 1510 SAT (790 math, 720 E&W). I've received math awards 2 years in a row and was national merit commended. I'm going to UT Austin for Statistics & Data Science. I have tutored multiple students in SAT during the summer. I have also volunteered as a tutor on Schoolhouse.com, teaching the English portion of the SAT. I got excellent reviews from students all over the world and took tutoring courses. I know the ins and outs of Frisco ISD course structure, Texas standardized tests, and AP math courses.

About the lesson

The first lesson will consist of a diagnostic and evaluation of the starting place and pace of acceleration for the student, keeping in mind their personal goals and learning style. From then, I will plan weekly if not daily homework and practice that they need to do to keep up with the fastest possible rate of growth. During lessons I will teach a good portion of the time, then show them how to practice and give them a myriad of resources to practice outside of class. I generally make a Google Doc agenda with homework links and in-class tasks to ensure we get to everything in an orderly fashion. When it comes to SAT, I am familiar with the best sources, textbooks, and strategies and can help students starting at low or high scores reach their potential. One student went from 1350 to 1490 in one summer, and another student increased their score from 900 to 1100 after 2 months of lessons with me.
