About James
I am comfortable with all levels of French and enjoy working with all types of media to help learning including music and wordplay.

I have been giving modern language classes and grinds for 20 years now since Cork was capital of culture and I have also lived in Montreal, Quebec (2008) and Naples, Italy (2005) to immerse myself in local dialects.
An average lesson lasts for an hour though it can be tailored depending on your level of mastery or learning requirements.
I graduated with a BA in French Language and Cultural studies in 2005 and did an MA in French Linguistics and Translation in 2005/2006.
I have taught in France as part of the Erasmus program under the Auvergne region's school learning program (2002/2003) and I taught in Cork schools prior to the introduction of the PME program.
I have also appeared on TV5's Questions Pour un Champion presented by Fremantle Media through Cork's Alliance Francaise hosted in Paris (2007).
