About Doug
I was an honors grammar student in high school, then later studied French and Mandarin.
I know from firsthand experience the value of practicing to converse, even if it is limited in scope for each session.
I got my BA from an Ivy League university (Brown) and an MBA from UCLA, and have work experience in management consulting, business brokerage, and commercial real estate.
Whether it is to practice English for a work setting, or just overall conversational ability, I'm sure we can find good ways to practice and to strengthen your confidence and abilities.

Though I'm American, I myself have also studied abroad myself (France and Asia), and, though my current level may not be so great, I have spent years learning French and Mandarin.
I know from first-hand experience how important practice is, especially practice with a native speaker. There is practically nothing so valuable to progressing.
If you have certain documents or other materials you'd like us to refer to or try to incorporate into our practice sessions, we can very likely do that, we can at least try it out.
I'm open to finding the best type of practice that will help you to progress as you would like to.
