About Richard
I have +25 years’ experience teaching Psychology. I have taught at high schools in Wirral and Liverpool (GCSE and A Level), and I am currently a Principal Lecturer at Liverpool John Moores' Department of Psychology. I have a PhD in Psychology, NQT and several other postgraduate titles.
I am creative, flexible, friendly, and good-humoured. Teaching is my passion, but I have plenty of hobbies, from playing the bass to hiking in North Wales, kayaking, drawing, and a few other things (but most of all, playing with my children!)

I try and make my classes as significant and practical as possible, from preparing attractive presentations with visual contents relevant to the pupils’ environment to highlighting the relationship between the lesson contents and real-life issues. Nothing in Psychology is really difficult if you approach it from the right angle!
I am a specialist in online education and I suggest lessons of about 45-50 minutes, but we can discuss other lengths if it suits you better. Any level from GCSE to post-graduate will be welcome.
