"Starting our first session feels like opening a new manuscript that we will annotate together. You might find that French pronunciation mirrors the phrasing of an aria more than you expect.
Beginners often learn everyday phrases through my lens of vocal technique and clarity. Conversational fluency is the priority. We focus on listening, speaking, and correcting small errors as they arise.

"Training as a voice graduate at RCM alongside studying Modern Languages at Oxford and Cambridge creates a unique intersection of disciplines. Most people assume music and linguistics are separate spheres, yet they inform one another constantly. I rely on this academic duality to instruct intermediate learners, teens, and kids in French.
Writing skills and reading comprehension often improve when students treat language like a rhythmic score. My lessons incorporate idioms and expressions alongside clear pronunciation techniques to build confidence. I focus on accent and intonation to ensure students communicate effectively in real-world scenarios.
We use role play and dialogue practice to make these languages come alive. Practising for DELF or DALF exams requires precision that mirrors the rigour of my musical training. Your future fluency begins with these fundamentals."
