About MARILYN
I am a former elementary teacher in my country (Philippines). I taught children from kindergarten to grade six pupils in public school and private school. English language was the major subject I taught in class. My IELTS general exam taken on December 2018 resulted an overall band score of 5.5 but I scored 7 in speaking. Then on March 2019 I took CELPIP general test which resulted better. I scored 6 in listening, 8 in reading, 7 in writing and 6 in speaking.

As a teacher my methods of teaching includes organization and preparation of all materials or tools to be used. I always prepare lesson plans, exercises, using materials like flashcards, giving interactive activities for young and adult learners and also creating discussion for dialogues. Creating academic, functional, and conversational materials relevant to student's ages and level of learning is very important in building the learner's foundation of speaking English.
