About Carmack

With both a B.S .in French, Italian and German from Georgetown University, and an International MBA from Thunderbird, I offer 2+ decades of teaching experience, with sessions uniquely tailored to student needs.

First, it is important to decide if the student is an auditory or visual learner--OR BOTH! This will tell me the best way to impart information to ensure quick learning.

I have taught hundreds and hundreds of students of varying ages and stages of their learning processes in both private AND Group lessons.

About the lesson

The secret to effective language learning is the mastery of vowels+consonants, along w constant vocabulary repetition and utilization in different sentence patterns.

At the outset, we will focus on learning the 5 all-important accents or diacritical markings) which make French understandable.

Additionally, it is CRUCIAL to learn the correct CADENCE of declarative, interrogative and imperative sentences: NOT hard.. but necessary!

My unique Q/A approach focuses on increasingly harder dialogs/stories which result in a faster language acquisition skills and overall better pronunciation.

In summary, I aim to make lessons FUN!

beginner rates are just $25 \ hour while more advanced student rates are $35/hr while CONVERSATION CLASSES ARE $45/ hr.

it is w orth noting that my lessons go until the end of the unit... they are NOT dictated by the clock. So a 1 hr session could last an additional 5-15 minutes... at no extra charge!

the text book i use is from Amazon and it can be purchased for $6-8.. I also supplement this with my own handouts which are, of course FREE of charge and are e mailed to the learner.
