About Wendy
Hello this is Wendy from Adelaide! As a Math teacher, I have accumulated 1000+ hours of teaching and tutoring Maths (year 1 - year 9) from all over the world since I graduated in 2018. A bit about myself, I love books, piano, movies, the beach and desserts! I love Math and I love helping young minds develop their interests in Math. It's very satisfying to see my students get better in solving problems and gaining confidence in Maths. Sometimes it's just a little bit of guidance that helps you unlock your Mathematics senses and gain your confidence!
My teaching approach is focused on providing the most engaging and positive learning experience for my students, provided with materials that suit individual needs. With a tertiary qualification in Engineering and Master in teaching, I have developed effective teaching pedagogies that help my students understand complex concepts with ease.

I provide both face-to-face and online lessons according to students and families needs. My online lessons are conducted through Zoom provided with materials that's catered for different levels to develop students maths skills.
For middle school students (year 7-9), I create personalized lesson plans that cater to their specific needs. Weekly lessons are recommended to develop the consistency and habits to practice maths skills and to have a more structured plan in your learning journey.
I am also experienced in primary school teaching, as I'm currently a school teacher. I provide play-based learning for younger students from year 1 to year 3, and more structured lessons for year 4 to 6 according to their needs, together with materials that can help them gain understanding and practice new skills.
Lesson length: 1 hour+ depending on students level. Recommended 1.5-2 hours per week for year 6 or above.
