About Kelly
I am an acting coach from the Bay Area (California). I have been doing theater since 7th grade and also work with other students in Language Arts, study skills, organization, and elementary mathematics. I am located in the Pacific Standard Time Zone.

Thank you so much for considering me to work with you/your student! I teach acting, ELA, and math, both virtually and in person.
ACTING - I work through monologues and scenes, give audition advice, and teach text analysis and Stanislavsky methods. I also like to give students exercises in how to warm up at the beginning of class and I have a number of improv exercises to help students get out of their comfort zones. I have experience with students ages 4 through adult.
ELA & MATH - I prefer to work with students on material assigned by their school. If nothing has been assigned, I tend to use the free resources on K5learning.com or I will ask that families provide workbooks or materials from previous school years.
Math - I have experience with students in kindergarten through 5th grade.
ELA - I have experience with students in kindergarten through college.
RATES:
Virtual Lessons - $30 per hour
In-Person - $35 per hour for students within 20 miles. $40 per hour for further distances.
If you are interested in virtual lessons, please let me know whether you prefer to use FaceTime or Zoom.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Should you need to cancel/reschedule a session, I do ask for at least 2 hours notice. Any less than that means I will still charge you the full rate of the lesson.
I can only reschedule a free lesson if there was at least 2 hours notice given before the original lesson.
As the teacher, if I need to cancel/reschedule, you will not be charged at all.
