About Flora
In high school, I was a French Immersion student who graduated with a Dual Dogwood Diploma and AP Capstone Diploma. I've just finished my first year at UBC with a 94% average and will be specializing in Cellular, Anatomical, and Physiological Sciences.
In my spare time, I love to read, go on hikes, spend time with family and friends, cook (although I'm admittedly not very good), and knit.

Tutoring is open to all high school and elementary school students, whether they are struggling in their classes or just need a little bit of extra support to achieve their academic goals. Subjects available for tutoring include but are not limited to English, French, Math, and Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
My lessons are student-oriented and I take the time to understand my students' strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. I take into account each student's unique needs and structure my lessons accordingly, rather than simply prescibing the same general lessons to every student.
I help students not only improve their grades in a class, but also develop life-long study skills and strategies that will allow them to succeed in their academic journey.
