About Darren
I am a physics student in University College Cork with a passion for mathematics and its many applications. Throughout my degree I have endeavored to push the limits of my own head as to what I can learn and understand. The passion I have for my degree is evidenced by the fact that this year I have co-founded a new society in UCC where we launch high-powered rockets in international competition. This is an extreme engineering challenge but it is one that I have found to be thoroughly worthwhile. I hope to instill this same passion in my students.

With 2 years experience, I believe the ideal lesson should last 1 hour. Depending on the exam, I typically focus on the key topics associated with what’s needed to succeed in your examinations. I offer lessons at a junior and leaving cert level. Typical lesson will consist of going through the theory before practicing exam questions in order to cement the understanding of the topic. I will endeavor to break down each question into understandable and intuitive chunks.
