About Jensen
Hi, I’m a university student with strong grades and a passion for helping others learn! I’m pursuing a career in teaching so it’s the perfect alignment. I’m very patient, non-judgmental and value the importance of comfortability and understanding. What sets me apart is that I personally have ADHD—so I deeply understand how hard it can be to focus, stay organized, or feel confident in subjects like math. Because of that, I create a space where it’s okay to be unsure, to ask “silly” questions, or to go at your own pace. My goal isn’t just to help with today’s homework—it’s to help you understand math and feel good about it.

As a tutor, my approach is simple: make math make sense. I focus on breaking down concepts step-by-step, using clear explanations, relatable examples, and lots of patience. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to fit what works best for you—whether that’s visual aids, practice problems, or walking through things slowly together.
A typical lesson usually begins with a quick check-in: What are you working on in class? What’s confusing or stressful? From there, we tackle those areas together—reviewing the material, solving problems, and building confidence along the way. I always leave time for questions and make sure the student feels comfortable, not rushed.
These lessons are for elementary and high school students who want extra support with math—whether it’s catching up, getting ahead, or preparing for a test. I work with all levels, and I always aim to make learning feel less overwhelming and more empowering.
