About
I am a hardworking teacher dedicated to helping my students suceed and meet thier goals. As a teacher, I want to figuere out the parts of a topic that are uclear or where misconceptions lie so that I can help you self-correct your own thinking and understand the topic at hand.
I enjoy helping students make connections to science in ways they usually dont see. Science requires students to be focused and dillgent but the benefits of applying science to your daily life, news stories, and health can help people change thier lives. I also enjoy those light-bulb moments of helping students "get" that topic or question that the have been wrestling with.
I have been teaching for the past four years and I love it! My favourite part is getting kids to repeat the things I mentioned to them weeks ago
I am a public school teacher for high school for 4 years with a Masters Degree in Science Education.

I start with figuring out the goals of the student (grade/exam /acdemic plan) and then I obtain a baseline of the skills the student has. From there, I work out a sequence that will help take the studnet from where they are to how far they need to get.
I have worked with students who are advanced as well as students who are behind in thier grade level.
I think an important factor is to consider how well you mesh with your teacher.

2. What tools do I have in my aresenal to help me solve the problem myself?
3. When have you felt most sucessful in an acadmic setting? What made you feel that way?
