About Rocco

I'm a fourth-year medical student at the University of Leicester with a passion for emergency medicine and dreams of becoming a doctor in the Navy. I want to teach because I remember how challenging the application process can be, and I’d love to share the tips and tricks I’ve learned along the way to make it easier for others. Teaching is something I genuinely enjoy, especially when I can help people understand complex ideas in a way that feels more approachable and manageable.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is highly personalised, adapting to each individual’s needs and goals. I focus on areas such as UCAT preparation, medical school interviews, and core medical subjects like anatomy and physiology. With my UCAT score in the top 10% and having received interview offers from all the medical schools I applied to, I offer strategic advice on approaching the application process. I also provide insights into the qualities and traits interviewers are looking for, drawing from my connections with those who run medical school interviews. Having achieved top merit in my exams at the end of Year 2 at Leicester Medical School, I am passionate about supporting students applying to medical school or needing assistance with their studies. My lessons are tailored to prospective medical students and current medical students, helping them achieve their academic and application goals.

Deadly! Rocco uses excellent explanation for each set of questions we go through for the UCAT, he breaks them down step by step and makes them easy to understand. He has a very patient teaching approach and I feel much more confident since taking lessons with him- highly recommend!!
